2020 Two Day Trial CANCELLED
The committee of the Kinlochleven and District Motorcycle Club has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Leven Valley Two Day Trial. We have done so mindful of Scottish Government guidelines for large gatherings, and in line with current guidance from the SACU, and the limitations of holding the event in a small village. We had delayed a ballot for places for the Trial and will now therefore forego that ballot and scratch all of the entries that were received. A new entry will take place for the Leven Valley Two Day Trial 2021.
We share your disappointment but trust that in the circumstances, it is clear that a large Trial in a small village would not be prudent, and could be a health risk to riders and villagers alike.
Though we have had to cancel the Two Day Trial we are exploring the possibility of holding a modified event on the Saturday of the same weekend, September 26th, at the Glencoe Ski Resort, White Corries, so all may not be lost. Of course nothing is planned as yet and any event would depend on a number of factors, not least our capacity to adhere to all health guidelines, social distancing regulations, etc.
We will report further on this in due course but for now, we just want to keep you updated. If an event is possible it will, as before, have an online entry, but with only a short window to submit entries. If oversubscribed we will have ballot for places.
Thanks for your continued support of the Club at this difficult time.
